The Collective Bargaining Agreement between the UFF-UCF and the UCF Board of Trustees contains articles on subjects as wide ranging from academic freedom to leaves to inventions and works to salaries. The contract is negotiated every year unless parties waive that right. The entire contract (or “full book”) is open for negotiation every three years. However, it is typical that both parties will agree to re-open certain articles outside of a year where the entire book is open for negotiation. For example, Article 23: Salaries is typically negotiated every year.
