"It was natural for me to join UFF soon after I was hired at UCF. I love being a teacher and a researcher and want UCF to be great. I wish we could count on administration to offer good working conditions, adequate pay increases, and academic freedom, but we can't. Joining UFF was the single most important thing that I could do to contribute to our much needed collective faculty voice. It shows administration that faculty care. I've been able to make a difference as a member of UFF and we are stronger with each one of you that joins me in the fight to get a better contract. There IS strength in numbers."
